She is the first certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction teacher in Singapore conferred by the Mindfulness Center at Brown University School of Public Health. She is also a trained Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy teacher by Oxford Mindfulness Foundation.
She has conducted mindfulness courses, workshops and retreats for more than 15,000 people across all ages.
She teaches the “The Undefeated Mind” course in NUS.
She is trained in holistic counselling and regression therapy. She has worked with a diverse group of clients, mainly with trauma and complex issues.
Xin Li is an experienced counsellor who has worked with a diverse group of populations, including children, teenagers and adults. He specializes in art therapy, and is able to carefully incorporate art media and play therapy, and the use of images, into his interventions, allowing clients to communicate and explore their emotions in a safe and creative manner. He uses mindfulness practice to help individuals in developing emotional regulation and achieve a deeper understanding of self.
Lily Gan has been a senior Mindfulness Trainer in Brahm Centre since 2018. She has been a mindfulness practitioner from 2015 and has been teaching the Mindfulness Foundation Course in both English and Chinese languages. In Mar 2022, she completed her 1 year teacher training on Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT-L) at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, UK.
Lily is also a senior counsellor at Brahm Centre, having graduated with a Masters of Social Science (Counselling & Psychotherapy) from Edith Cowen University, Australia in 2011. She applies mindfulness as an essential modality in her counselling sessions. She has many years of experience counselling clients, especially those experiencing anxiety and depression symptoms.
颜莉莉老师从2015 年开始修习正念, 自2018 年起担任百仁中心正念导师, 教导正念基础课程。2022 年 3 月,她结业于英国牛津正念中心为期 1 年的正念认知疗法 (MBCT-L) 教师培训。颜老師谙熟双语, 能以英语和华语教授正念课程。她教导的正念课程已成功的培训了多名学员开始了他们的正念之旅。
颜老師也是百仁中心的资深心理辅导师,她于 2011 年毕业于澳大利亚伊迪斯科文大学 (辅导与心理治疗) 硕士学位。她在拥有丰富的咨询经验,以正念为根基来辅导个案,特别是有焦虑和抑郁症状的来访者。
Frank graduated with a Master in Professional Counselling in 2014, specializing in CBT and System Theory. He is also a certified practitioner in Choice Theory, Reality Therapy, and Substance Abuse Treatment.
Before joining us as a counsellor, Frank volunteered his services at Care Corner Family Services Centre (Admiralty), Helping Hands, Drug Rehabilitation Centre at Changi Prison and our centre.
Frank’s counselling experiences are in addiction, marital, parenting, anxiety and depression issues. To date, he has accumulated more than 1,000 hours of counselling.
Besides counselling, Frank conducts training for Brahm staff and volunteers and lectures on mental health subjects, befriending skills and related topics like caregiving. He also gives public talks at our centre on happiness, well-being and parenting.
Jermyn believes that within every individual lies the ability and the desire to grow. The counsellor’s role is to provide a platform for that growth to emerge.
Jermyn has worked with at-risk-youth, students, parents, working adults and ex-offenders in his career. The Rogerian core conditions inform the counselling work that he does, while also integrating ideas in Choice Theory Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational interviewing and CBT.
Jermyn graduated in 2014 with a Masters in Professional Counselling with Swineburne University of technology. He is also Choice Theory Reality Therapy certified.
Sean’s therapeutic approach is to grow a loving relationship between us and the thoughts and feelings of ours that we mistake to be a problem. Sean is dedicated to guiding individuals on a transformative journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance.
Sean holds a Masters of Counselling from Monash University and is a certified Brainspotting therapist. He is also trained in Level 1 of Internal Family Systems and Beginning I/II of Somatic Experiencing.
He has worked with youth and adults with varying degrees of mental health concerns, including complex trauma. He continuously upskill himself to ensure optimum delivery of care is provided for his clients.
Raymond is a counsellor registered with the Singapore Association for Counselling and a certified behavioural consultant. He has a Master degree in counselling from Swinburne University of Technology. He also volunteered as a career advisor at Workforce Singapore.
Raymond has provided counselling support to people from all walks of life including adolescents, young professionals, youths on probation and persons with intellectual disabilities.
Raymond has had work experience in IT project management, hotel operations and HR prior to becoming a counsellor.
Peter Hu integrates depth psychology into his counselling practice, bringing over 20 years of multidisciplinary experience and specializing in trauma-informed and person-centered therapies. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Counselling from Flinders University, Australia and is currently pursuing a Master of Counselling from the same institution, expected to complete in early 2025. Peter’s journey from the corporate world to counselling is driven by a deep commitment to guiding individuals, couples, and families through complex relational dynamics. He utilizes psychodynamic psychotherapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, dream work, and provides LGBTQ+ affirmative counselling to empower others on their path to inner knowing, possibility, and freedom.
Ly-Shan Pang is an associate psychologist, graduating with a Master of Clinical Psychology (MClinPsych) from the Australian National University. She has experience working with adults to children across private and public settings with multidisciplinary teams. She provides therapy for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, specific phobias, grief, sleep difficulties, and trauma. Her therapeutic approaches include CBT, ACT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused therapy, and Schema Therapy. She also works with neurodivergent clients (ADHD, autism) and provides LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy. Prior to clinical work, she was manning hotlines, supporting depressive and suicidal callers.
